Army Leadership Seminars

Colonel Ralph Puckett, U.S. Army Retired, author of Words for Warriors: A Professional Soldier’s Notebook, held several leadership seminars for second lieutenants.

On March 21, 2012, Col. Puckett led a leadership seminar for approximately 130 new second lieutenants. The subject matter of the seminar was based on his books and objectives established by the Chief of Infantry.

Col. Puckett led a similar seminar to 150 new Armor and Cavalry second lieutenants on March 26, and 150 new Infantry second lieutenants on April 18 and 19. The class discussed the importance of completing Ranger School, “the best life insurance for the battlefield that a person can have.”
