One way to do this is to do your own research. Collect data online by asking a group of people to provide responses to a question or a series of questions. The information that you collect is uniquely yours so it can be a big selling point for making your book stand out authoritatively.

Today’s author must spend as much time building their author platform as they do writing their book. Or more.
While there are a number of different ways to spread the word about your books, at the core of every promotional effort you want to get readers to sign up for your email list.
An author blog is usually the best way to start. It’s the home base for everything you write. The place where you have the sign-up for your newsletter, the “about me” page that gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at their new favorite author, a place to showcase all your books both old and new and a possibly even a place to buy your books and get them autographed.
