Great Expectations Program

When a Wheatmark author sells 2,000 or more copies of a book, that book is enrolled in our Great Expectations program. Great Expectations authors are entitled to a credit with Wheatmark in the amount of the publishing and marketing service fees they paid to Wheatmark for the book (through the date it reached 2,000 copies sold through Wheatmark).

The credit can be used toward the purchase of books and services from Wheatmark. Authors have used their Great Expectations credit to purchase:

• books for direct-by-author and back-of-the-room sales
• books for promotional purposes
• publishing packages for new manuscripts
• book revisions
• Kindle formatting and distribution
• hardcover formatting and distribution
• Wheatmark’s Inside Search Package
• author websites
• promotional postcards, bookmarks, and business cards
