Description

Unrealistic Expectations is the story of eight intelligent, successful individuals who are nevertheless perplexed by the challenges of romantic relationships.

Grace Kincade, an attractive, high-powered attorney, experiences deep loneliness and pain when she is deceived by her boyfriend, Duane Parkes.

Duane, a budding Miami politician, cares for Grace deeply. More than anything, he wishes he could take back the day he succumbed to a moment of weakness with Trudie Jones, a voluptuous temptress.

Popular college football coach Brad Conrad is in agony after his jealous, suspicious wife throws him out of the house. Tanya Conrad, a top fashion designer, has long been consumed with the fear that Brad has been unfaithful to her.

Monique Street is one of Miami’s most successful models, turning heads wherever she goes. But several failed relationships have made her bitter and cynical, and she prefers to play the role of a tease rather than taking seriously the advances of the many men who want her. Things change when she falls in love with the local college football hero, Paul Rhodes. But can she bear to share him with his wife, Karel?

Hurt and confused, these women and men will realize that love comes only at a price. And they will have to decide how much they are willing to pay to hold on to it.
