About the author

Jean Charles is a business coach, a licensed healthcare professional, and an entrepreneur. Over the past twenty years, she has built several successful small businesses, both on her own, and in partnership with her husband, Tom. Their most successful company—launched with a $250 investment—ultimately sold for millions at a buying price valued at ten times the company’s earnings.

Over the years, Jean’s interests and aspirations evolved, and she moved on to a career in coaching, and now specializes is helping other Couplepreneurs reap the rewards of building successful businesses with their life partners. She has two popular websites—www.couplepreneurs.com and www.justrightcoach.com—that offer virtual coaching programs, self-help quizzes, and newsletters.

Jean has been featured in many publications, including the New York Times, the Star-Ledger, Lifetime TV.com, and Garden State Women magazine; and she has been interviewed on radio programs both locally and on the internet. Jean holds a Masters’ degree in Behavioral Sciences, an Occupational Therapy license, is a graduate of CoachU, and is a Relationship Coach licensed by the Relationship Coaching Institute.

Jean lives with her husband at one of the businesses that the two of them still own – a working farm in New Jersey, where they raise cattle (yes, cattle in New Jersey), crops, chickens and, most importantly, a teenaged son. The family vacations at another of their businesses – an oceanfront home on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which is also a rental property.
