"Our society has many outstanding home inspectors, but few who
are talented and generous enough to write articles that add to the
body of knowledge for their fellow inspectors. Bruce Barker is a
much appreciated member of this select group. His well-crafted
articles have been a welcomed addition to ASHI’s publications
for years."

Description
Building codes preserve your family’s physical health and
safety. In addition, your home may be your largest investment. If
you are someone who likes to do it yourself, a homeowner acting as
your own contractor, a contractor, a home inspector, a real estate
agent, or anyone else who wants to protect themselves, their
family, and their customers by using the International Residential
Code® (IRC) 2003, then this is your building code book.
Everybody's Building Code makes the IRC accessible and
easier to understand so you can use it without becoming a code
expert.
