Lowell F. Volk is a native of Minnesota. He retired in 2004 and lives in Pleasant View, Colorado, where he is a retired member of the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Posse and the Western Writers of America. Lowell and his wife, Mary Lou, have five children: Terri (deceased), Scott (deceased), Paula, Lowell Jr., and Kathy. He is the author of several western novels, including his most recent Milo Ryder US Marshal Series.
